I passed by here many times but never dined at Agora until recently. I was impressed by everything--the ambiance, the excellent and attentive service, and the generous portion sizes. I ate my leftovers the next day and it was still delicious! The owner is very kind and approaches every table in a friendly manner to make sure we're happy customers. We had a very pleasant finale at the end of the meal that I know you will enjoy as much as I did! I'll definitely return to continue supporting this wonderful establishment.
The Greek Salad. The best ever. Truly Greek no lettuce big chunks of tomato and cucumber. Nice Ambiance. Prompt efficient service. Convenient location.
I always have a wonderful dinner experience here! The food is delicious and authentic, and I especially loved the baklava for dessert. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is clean and spacious! I will definitely be back!
A real gem! We came here on a date night not having checked any reviews and were so pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is quite big with a nice interior. It wasn't very busy when we visited but the atmosphere was nice. The staff were so knowledgeable about every dish and took great care informing us about their specials and best sellers. We ordered octopus appetisers on their recommendation and it was great! Not at all chewy which is sometimes a risk when ordering octopus. We also shared the seafood pasta and the meat platter which were both delicious. The portions were pretty substantial so we ended up taking some home. We also shared a dessert which I'm not sure what it was but it was also really tasty!
Foods are all delicious! we had octopus, agora chips branzino, meat platter and passion fruit cocktail EVERYTHING we ordered was incredibly delicious! But octopus is really my favorite in this place ! Peter the owner is very friendly accommodating and very welcoming. After posting all the foods we ate in social media couple of my friends love what they saw and they are already planning on going to try this place ! 5 star to AGORA !!!
We went here today for brunch to Celebrate my Moms 86 birthday. She has been here before , it was my 1st time. When we sat down we ordered coffee's & cappuccinos. Cappuccino was nice and creamy. They offered 2 menus but if you ordered off Brunch Menu the whole party had to order off Brunch Menu same if we chose lunch menu everyone had to order off lunch menu. We stayed with the brunch menu. We ordered 4 appetizers, Grape Leaves, Spinach Pie, Tzatziki Sauce/pita and Hummus/pita. It was all good. I really enjoyed the Tzatziki Sauce and Spinach Pie The restuarant and bathrooms were very clean. Staff were very nice too. Only issue is parking but there is a parking lot for target across the street.
Greek gem in Forest Hills! Grilled chicken with lemon potatoes is incredibly well made and delicious. Hummus appetizer is fresh and excellent. Falafel is great! Service is excellent, attentive and friendly. Love this place & will definitely return!
Agora's classic Greek dishes are the best. A hidden gem in the neighborhood. It's a must try! Grilled octopus tender & flavorful. Crab cake made with real crab meat chunks. Saganaki crispy and gooey. Greek salad fresh. All the other seafood- grilled Brazino, Dorado, seafood kabobs are super fresh! Service is excellent. Staff are very friendly & attentive!
